Perhaps you are looking for dance lessons for your child or you have an audition for the summer intensive at Joffrey. Whatever your dance needs are, I can help and have plenty of years experience to back it up. Maybe you're hoping to make a music video or bring in a guest choreographer. Together, let's turn those artistic ideas into a reality!

A little about myself...

I began dancing at a young age, learning from my mother who studied with Balanchine at ABT and danced on Broadway.  My mother was a very caring teacher and I learned from her how important it is to create a classroom environment where children feel encouraged, accepted and safe.  I try to instill in my students a love and appreciation for the arts, as well as self-confidence. I offer group classes for all ages at a reasonable price.  Please contact me on the Contact Page for more info.

After competing at the national level, I went on to audition for college programs and was accepted to the prestigious New World School of the Arts.  I have helped many students prepare for college auditions and as a Professor, I know exactly what committees look for.  I currently have students at NYU Tisch School, AMDA, Joffrey Ballet School, Marymount Manhattan, Boston Conservatory and Academy of the Arts. If you are preparing for a college audition, please contact me. I want to help you follow your dreams!

After graduation, I began auditioning and performing professionally in NYC and Miami.  Eventually I wound up on tour in Europe and then lived for 10 years, teaching at the renowned Tanzhaus in Duesseldorf and working in theaters, such as Deutsche Theatre, in various capacities. I know what it takes to succeed in the dance world and actually earn a living as an artist. My students have gone on to dance with NYC Ballet, Philadanco, Disney, danced in the film Center Stage and more.  I would love to offer you guidance too! Follow me on twitter for news on upcoming auditions, choreographers and tips for success.  I offer advanced classes and private coaching too.

After moving back to the U.S., I attended Boston University and developed an interest in writing. I freelanced for Dancer Magazine and websites like eHow.  I received my Masters in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kent State.

I've choreographed the musicals Grease, Footloose, Jesus Christ Superstar, Music Man, Guys and Dolls and the ballets Swan Lake, Coppelia and Sleeping Beauty.  I also worked on videos, concert pieces and expos.  I am very easy to work with and known for being extremely organized and reliable. My schedule is usually pretty busy so please contact me in advance for any projects.  I love the creative process and collaborating with other artists! Check out some of my work on YouTube
